AFD-2018 resume

The official launch ceremony of the AIFC with the participation of the Head of State and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place on July 5 last year in the EXPO Congress Center.
The official opening of Astana Finance Days of July 3-4 last year preceded in all strategic areas of the AIFC development, during which 7 forums took place, including 46 panel sessions and 2 master classes, at which 296 speakers spoke.


Within the framework of Astana Finance Days, an exhibition of digital initiatives of the AIFC Digital Exhibition was held, within which 24 stands on various topics were presented: the AIFC registration and supervision platform, the AIFC resident cards, crypto platforms, cybersecurity, Islamic fintech, digital projects of Samruk-Kazyna, program of fintech startups and others.
Within the framework of the Astana Finance Days, the AIFC signed 11 bilateral documents on joint cooperation. 22 B2B meetings were held with partners at the forum site. Also, 8 meetings of the AIFC Boards were held (AIX, AFSA Boards of Directors, AIFC participants, advisory boards, etc.)
During the official launch of the AIFC, 6,962 people from 73 countries of the world participated, including prominent political figures from countries of near and far abroad, heads of major international companies, development institutions and financial organizations.
